Kathleen Dalton and Sonja Petermann are an artistic and collaborative duo using three dimensional visual art and choreographic pondering in the pursuit of women’s rights and the spiritual practice of creating from shared memory. Their work has evolved throughout an eight year friendship and professional partnership, delving into big questions with the purpose of shedding light upon the beauty of existence and the power inherent in the immense creativity of all women.

These artists are dedicated to honest examination and creative exploration of technique, media, and content within a research-driven framework where the product and the process are equally significant. They are currently investigating patterns of movement correlated to internal and external histories by constructing a mixed-media performance integrating dance and printed material.
